GIRLGUIDING is celebrating its’ centenary this year and to mark the special occasion, members of Cheshire Border have entered a garden... The garden has traditional but will show how Guiding is a modern, forward thinking organisation with over half a million members in the UK. The garden includes a water feature to symbolise the global nature of Guiding, a carved wooden owl, silver... The back-to-back garden - entitled ‘Growing Girls Growing Guiding’ includes ideas by girls from across the county, co-ordinated by Guide Leader Libby Mooney. The garden will feature planting to attract wildlife and lots of the flowers in the centenary colours of pinks, blues and yellows.
