• The Thursday Evening Book Discussion Group meets 7:30 p. m. through August and will featuring books by authors who have won the Anisfield-Wolf book prize. Big Buddies (grades 5 and up) will share the joy of books by reading aloud to little buddies and playing fun reading games. Grades K-5. There’s a lot of slime involved in cleaning water before it is returned to our environment, so get ready to experiment with a chemical reaction and let’s make slime. Read and discuss the book “How I Became a Pirate” then stay for some pirate activities.
